Three players leave Granada after promotion to top flight

Jorge Molina, Rubén Rochina and Quini have all left Granada, after their respective contracts at the club expired, report Marca.

Granada have opted not to renew the three experienced players going into the new La Liga season under head coach Paco López.

Molina had been waiting for an offer to extend his contract but that has not arrived, and he will bid farewell to the club at the age of 41.

The veteran striker is not thinking about hanging up his boots just yet and his intention is to play one more season.

He leaves the Andalusian club having played 113 games, scoring 31 times and providing 12 assists.

Quini to join up with Diego Martínez

Granada told right-back Quini (33) weeks ago that he was not part of the plans for 2023-24 and that he had to look for a new club after six years at Los Cármenes.

The full-back will leave for Greece to join up with former Granada boss Diego Martínez at Olympiacos.
