Thomas Tuchel tells Todd Boehly to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona

Thomas Tuchel is pushing Chelsea owner Todd Boehly to sign Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier this week it was communicated that Chelsea have been eyeing the Gabonese international as a potential replacement for Timo Werner, who departed the club to join RB Leipzig.

Even though discussions have already began regarding personal terms, Chelsea are yet to make an offer for Aubameyang.

It is believed that The Blues will begin negotiations today with Barcelona with the hope of coming to an agreement that will see the 33-year-old return to the Premier League.

According to reports, the Blaugrana are only willing to part ways with either Memphis Depay or Aubameyang, suggesting the outcome of discussions will partly depend on whether the Catalan side will release the Dutchman this summer.

Aubameyang has expressed that he is happy in Barcelona, which means that Chelsea may have to submit a serious contract offer to bring the Gabonese striker back to London.
