A fresh insight into the ongoing injury recovery efforts of Atlético Madrid star Thomas Lemar has this week been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Relevo, and points towards Lemar inching ever closer to a return to the pitch.
The Frenchman, for his part, has spent almost the entirety of the season to date on the sidelines.
As much comes after he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in just the 4th gameweek of the La Liga campaign, during a meeting with Valencia.
Lemar has since gone through an arduous recovery schedule, in the hopes of featuring for Diego Simeone’s side once more before the season is out.
And, if the latest word doing the rounds online is anything to go by, precisely as much could yet be on the cards.
Though the former Monaco man is yet to return to group activities, he is expected to link back up with the rest of Atlético’s squad in training before the month of April is out.
From here, Lemar will ramp up his efforts towards a return to competitive action, with his body’s reaction to the physical strain of an increased workload set to determine his availability for the season’s final weeks.
