Thomas Lemar may not be fit to play in Atlético Madrid’s match on the weekend, report Marca.
Los Colchoneros will travel to San Sebastián (Donostia) to play Real Sociedad tomorrow at 18.30 local time.
Lemar suffered an injury a couple of days ago in training, meaning he wasn’t able to participate in the rest of the team’s sessions. He trained by himself at the Cerro del Espino and did not take part in the final session before the fixture with the whole squad either.
Nonetheless, he is part of the matchday squad and is expected to make the trip to the Basque country with the rest of the team.
Stefan Savić and Sergio Reguilón were also absent during the training session. While the former is still coming back from the physical problems that have kept him out this past week, the latter is working on recovering from the groin lesion for which he underwent surgery in August.
