Speaking in an interview with CalcioMercato.it, Manuel García Quilón, agent of AC Milan defender Theo Hernández, believes the former Real Madrid player can become one of the world’s very best left-backs. Milan signed the 22-year-old from Madrid for €20m last summer.
“He has to confirm his level at Milan, and at that point, he’ll be worth much more than €50m. He went to Madrid very young and maybe he lacked a little patience. You need to give a lot of space to young, talented players. But at clubs as important as Madrid, things have to be immediate and that stops them from having patience with young players. Sometimes they struggle but then explode somewhere else like we’re seeing with Theo. If he keeps working with the support of his club then he’ll be one of the best left-backs in the world.”
