The Real Madrid players whose contracts set to expire in June 2023

Mundo Deportivo compiled a list of Real Madrid players whose contracts are set to expire at the end of this season.

Karim Benzema – The French striker’s contract expires in 2023 and Real Madrid are already planning to offer the 34-year-old a one-year extension.

Luka Modrić – The 37-year-old is still a key player at Real Madrid. Modrić recently announced his intention to play at Euro 2024 and Los Blancos would be delighted if he decides to stay with the club for at least one more season.

Toni Kroos – The 32-year-old has already turned down a renewal offer from Real Madrid as he wants to decide what he is going to do when this season ends. The club wants him to continue, but the German midfielder is considering to retire once his current deal expires.

Marco Asensio – The 26-year-old Mallorcan is one of the players who seems certain to leave Real Madrid next June. Despite Carlo Ancelotti stating that the midfielder is part of his plans at the club, Los Blancos are not considering to offer him a contract renewal.

Dani Ceballos – The Spaniard is part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans at Real Madrid and it is believed that the club are ready to offer him a contract extension. However, the 26-year-old is not happy with the number of minutes he is playing.

Mariano Díaz – The 29-year-old striker is one of the players that Real Madrid have been trying to offload for the past couple of transfer windows. He is expected to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

Nacho Fernández – The Spanish defender has been at the club from the start of his career. The club have offered the 32-year-old a contract extension, but Nacho is considering the possibility of starting a new adventure.
