‘The perfect project’ – Barcelona target pushing for transfer

A leading member of the transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona is actively pushing to join the club this summer.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Dani Olmo as the player in question.

With widespread sources now in agreement that Barcelona’s chances of landing chief attacking target Nico Williams have all but come to an end, Deco and co. have turned their attentions firmly towards the signing of the aforementioned Olmo.

After seeing a previous bid firmly rebuffed by their counterparts at RB Leipzig, the Blaugrana, in turn, have returned to the table, with a new-and-improved proposal.

And, should as much prove to be to the liking of the Leipzig hierarchy, a transfer should take little time in coming to fruition.

This comes with Olmo, who spent the early years of his career developing at La Masia, nothing short of desperate to return.

As per a report from Fabrizio Romano, Olmo wants nothing more than to pull on the shirt of Barcelona next season, a feeling which the Spaniard’s entourage made clear to the Catalans this past weekend.

Olmo considers the project being built by Hansi Flick at the Camp Nou as the perfect one for him to prosper in, ready to do whatever it takes to make the transfer a reality as a result.
