‘The last time’ – Furious Barcelona star confronts fan after training

Footage of a leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona making clear his frustrations with a member of the club’s fanbase has come to the fore on Monday.

The player in question? Iñigo Martínez.

Stopper Iñigo, for his part, saw out the 90 minutes on Saturday, as Barcelona returned to action post-international break with a 1-0 downing of Las Palmas.

This afternoon, though, the 32-year-old has seen his name front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya for an altogether different reason.

As much comes after footage surfaced online of Iñigo in a furious exchange with a member of the Blaugrana’s fanbase.

After departing the club’s training ground, the Spanish international stopped his car on the road, before emerging, and making a beeline for the fan in question.

From here, Iñigo made clear that he has had enough of the apparent abuse being directed at him by the individual, and a friend.

Positioning himself right in the face of the supporter, the 32-year-old repeatedly shouted:

“This is the last time you call me stupid, and your friend too.”
