A whole host of up-and-coming academy talents were spotted playing their part in the first pre-season training session held by new Barcelona manager Hansi Flick this week.
For those not aware, Barca’s stars not to have been called up for international duty this summer were recalled to begin preparations for the new season on Wednesday.
After a day of medical checks, the players in question then took to the grass for the first time in several months on Thursday.
And front and centre were a large contingent of players to have spent last season plying their trade in Barcelona’s youth setup.
Hansi Flick is expected to afford a chance to impress to the latest wave of breakthrough talent in Catalunya’s capital this coming season, following the emergence of the likes of Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí in 2023/24.
Just who, though, was spotted amongst the more established first-team Blaugrana stars on Thursday?
As much has been revealed by journalist Guillem Borràs Pérez of Jijantes, who points towards the following 16 youngsters, from Barca Atlètic, as well as the club’s U18, 19s and more, as present:
Ander Astralaga, Marc Casadó, Diego Kochen, Héctor Fort, Unai Hernández, Marc Bernal, Angel Alarcón, Mikayil Faye, Noah Darvich, Trilli, Gerard Martín, Andrés Cuenca, Toni Fernández, Guille Fernández, Sergi Domínguez and Quim Junyent
