RCD Mallorca star Dani Rodríguez has this evening sent a message of advice the way of Real Madrid youngster Raúl Asencio.
This comes in response to the defender’s behaviour late in the meeting between the sides on Thursday.
Real Madrid and Mallorca of course locked horns a short time ago, in the 2nd of two Spanish Super Cup semi-final fixtures.
When all was said and done, it was the former who emerged comfortable victors, booking a finale showdown with arch rivals Barcelona at the weekend.
And safe to say, tensions, post-match, are high…
After Pablo Maffeo and Vinícius Jr. clashed on a number of occasions over the 90 minutes this evening, the aforementioned Raúl Asencio, late on, made use of the opportunity to poke fun at the former.
Asencio was spotted directing a series of insults in Maffeo’s direction, before blowing kisses to the full-back, too.
As much sparked ugly scenes between the two sides, a situation which Mallorca star Dani Rodríguez was drawn on following the full-time whistle.
And, in quotes gathered by Movistar, Rodríguez offered up some less-than-friendly advice to Asencio in his response:
“I encourage him, with the youth he has and all the important games he has left, to learn to win because it will be better for him…”
