Getafe star Juan Iglesias has made clear his grievances with Barcelona counterpart Gavi, on the back of the meeting between the two sides.
Getafe and Barcelona, of course, locked horns in La Liga on Saturday night.
When all was said and done, the two sides were forced to settle for a share of the spoils, after Jules Koundé’s opener was cancelled out by Mauro Arambarri.
A number of heated exchanges were noted between the sides during the 2nd-half, as tempers frayed on the part of a whole host of players.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the clash, the subject of the tense atmosphere was in turn put to Getafe star Juan Iglesias.
And the defender made use of the opportunity to aim something of a jibe at Barcelona youngster Gavi, explaining:
“Gavi kept telling us we would be relegated to the 2nd division. I told him that if he was such a man, he could come tell it to my face. That’s what pisses them off, that they can never get the 3 points here!”
