A surprise member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is considered as boasting the best ‘shot’ in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Arda Güler as the player in question.
Youngster Güler is for his part fresh off finding the net for the first time his season over the weekend.
En route to a 3-0 downing of Girona, the Turkish international notched Los Blancos’ 2nd of the evening, courtesy of a pinpoint left-footed strike.
And as much came as little surprise to those behind the scenes at Valdebebas.
In fact, the Blancos coaching staff are only surprised by how long it took Güler to open his account for the 2024/25 campaign.
As per AS:
‘The Real Madrid coaching staff are clear that the best shot in the entire squad is the Ottoman’s.’
Güler will no doubt be hoping to back up such a viewpoint by way of adding to his goalscoring tally over the weeks and months ahead.
