Real Betis are set for some interesting days ahead with Ayoze Pérez returning to the Andalusian club.
Pérez is on his way back to the Benito Villamarín on a free transfer due to the expiry of his Leicester City contract. Last season the attacker – on loan at the club – registered four goals and two assists for Los Verdiblancos.
The arrival of Pérez could coincide with the departure of Edgar González to Almería. Betis have accepted a bid of €5m for the centre-back and Relevo understand that he is in the process of finalising his move.
Relevo also claim that Sergio Canales is a wanted man by Monterrey of Liga MX. The 32-year-old is reportedly happy at Betis and he is contracted at the club until 2026, making the transfer unlikely.
The player is deemed a key figure in the team as he proved last season, helping them to a sixth-placed finish in La Liga as well as advancing to the last 16 of the Europa League.
