José Mourinho’s Real are of course fresh off an altogether encouraging opening to the new campaign. Under the watch of their new headmaster, Los Blancos have rattled off a trio of successive league victories.
Across these outings, the club’s most high-profile performers have shone bright, culminating in 10 goals scored, and just two conceded at the other end.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of attacking talent dominating the shortlist for August Player of the Month at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As announced by sponsors Mahou on Wednesday, Real Madrid’s official POTM shortlist is made up as follows:

- Jude Bellingham
- Arda Güler
- Vinícius Jr.
- Federico Valverde
The winner of the prize is set to be announced over the days ahead.
