Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming service provider, is one of the possible candidates to become the next sponsor on the FC Barcelona shirt, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Current sponsor Rakuten will not renew their current deal with the Catalan club, which expires on 30 June. The Swedish company, whose intention to sponsor Barça was revealed by Mundo Deportivo on Saturday, hopes to close a deal with Barcelona.
The report adds that Spotify is well placed to become the next club sponsor. Another name that has also appeared in recent days is that of Tencent, a Chinese technology company, according to Sport.
