The Europa League play-off draw has taken place in Nyon and there are two interesting fixtures involving Spanish clubs. The standout tie is FC Barcelona against Manchester United.

When will the games be played?

The first legs of the last play-off round will be played on 16 February 2023. The return legs are scheduled for 23 February 2023.

Sevilla, who have been poor domestically and in Europe this season, will take on PSV Eindhoven next year.

Eight clubs are already through to the last 16 draw in February after finishing in first place during the group stage, namely Arsenal, Fenerbahce, Real Betis, Union St.Gilloise, Real Sociedad, Feyenoord, Freiburg and Ferencvaros.

Real Sociedad finished top of Group E, ahead of Manchester United on goal difference, to book their place in the last 16 of the competition.

The winners go into the draw for the Round of 16 on Friday 24 February.
