Spain predicted XI vs Serbia: Lamine Yamal out, Álex Baena in

Spain are set to host Serbia in Córdoba in what will be Nations League A action in the fourth matchday of the competition.

Spain lead the way in their group with seven points, whilst Serbia are on four points with one win, one draw and one loss so far in the competition.

Spain has had a highly publicised injury crisis so far affecting their national setup, with their squad almost unrecognisable to the one which won Euro 2024 in Germany just a few months ago.

This crisis isn’t getting better as Lamine Yamal has added his name to the injury list which Luis de la Fuente has to deal with when picking his team.

This opens the door for Álex Baena to step into the starting lineup after playing 28 minutes against Denmark on Saturday evening.

Spain are now on a 13-match unbeaten run following their 1-0 win over Denmark in Murcia, a run they will be keen on extending in Córdoba this evening.

Meanwhile, Serbia have failed to score away from home in their last two games on foreign soil, a stat they will be looking to change as they face Spain.

Spain predicted XI vs Serbia:

David Raya – Pedro Porro, Daniel Vivían, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Cucurella – Martín Zubimendi, Fabián Ruiz, Álex Baena, Pedri, Mikel Oyarzabal – Álvaro Morata
