Spain predicted XI vs Denmark: Injury-hit Spain set to display new-look lineup

Spain are set to welcome Denmark to the Estadio Nueva Condomina in Murcia on Saturday evening in Nations League Group A action.

Luis del la Fuente will have to put together a new-look Spain side given the large number of injuries that have been affecting Spanish players in recent weeks.

Players like Ferran Torres, Nico Williams, Dani Olmo, Robin Le Normand, Bryan Gil and Yeremy Pino have all been ruled out of action in recent weeks and are unable to play any part for their national side.

This is alongside more long-term injuries to Dani Carvajal, Rodri and Unai Simón, who are on the sidelines for a longer period of time.

This opens the door to some new faces who didn’t feature at the Euros in Germany in the summer to step in and perhaps step up and make a name for themselves.

Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsí looks set to be handed his senior debut, while Tottenham Hotspur’s Pedro Porro will likely be handed his first start for the national team since March.

Spain Predicted XI vs Denmark

David Raya – Pedro Porro, Pau Cubarsí, Aymeric Laporte, Marc Cucurella – Fabían Ruiz, Martín Zubimendi, Pedri – Lamine Yamal, Álvaro Morata, Mikel Oyarzabal
