Sevilla star Dodi Lukébakio insists he’ll stay at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán

Dodi Lukébakio has been the one redeeming factor from a fairly disappointing season for Sevilla. The Belgian has scored 10 goals in 25 appearances for the club so far this campaign.

Lukébakio’s good form has attracted interest from several clubs looking to secure his signature, leading to rumours of his departure.

As per Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla fans have no need to worry, as Lukébakio has insisted that his future will be at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.

I feel great in this team and in this city. It’s the best place I’ve ever lived. And so do my family. The climate, the food, the light! Getting up in the morning and seeing probably the best sunlight in the world. Where else can you find light like that? Los Angeles? Africa? Seville is unique, wonderful. Lukébakio said.

The 27-year-old has expressed that he feels he is in the best form of his career, so he is happy enough to stay in Andalucía while the going is good.

There have been generous offers from the like of Napoli and Al-Nassr, with Sevilla recieving offers of over €40 million for their forward.

It will remain to be seen whether Lukébakio can have his head turned, but for the time being he is happy at Sevilla.
