According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla’s Sporting Director Monchi is interested in buying former Barcelona winger Malcom.
Monchi has been monitoring the player since he was at Brazilian club Corinthians. When Malcom made the move to Europe with French side Bordeaux, Monchi came close to signing him during his spell as Sporting Director at Roma. However, after Roma had announced an agreement with Bordeaux to sign Malcom, Barça managed to convince him to move to Camp Nou with a last-minute bid.
The 23-year-old made just 24 appearances for the Catalan club, before moving to Zenit Saint Petersburg.
