Sevilla recover pair of stars for Real Madrid clash

Sevilla have been afforded a timely double boost on the personnel front, ahead of their upcoming clash with Real Madrid.

Quique’s troops will of course mark their return to action on Sunday night.

Amid a solid recent stretch of form, Sevilla are set to make the daunting trip to Spain’s capital, for a La Liga showdown with table-topping Real Madrid.

The Nervionenses will be aided in their efforts to spring a surprise on their heavyweight opponents by news of no fewer than seven members of Carlo Ancelotti’s Blancos squad being set to sit out at the Bernabéu, through either injury or suspension.

Not only that, but Quique, for his part, will have two key members of his own ranks back available for selection.

The players in question? Lucas Ocampos, and Tanguy Nianzou.

Attacker Ocampos returned to training earlier this week, after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem.

Defender Nianzou, meanwhile, has not taken to the pitch since late last month, owing to a muscular concern.

Both, though, have been included in Sevilla’s travelling squad bound for Madrid:
