Sevilla host Atlético Madrid at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in the seventh round of La Liga, with kick-off scheduled at 6.30pm local time.
Despite the progress he has made in his recovery, Marcão will still not be available to make his debut for Los Nervionenses. Julen Lopetegui is expected to play a 1-4-5-1 formation that will allow the team to counter Atlético Madrid’s press.
Sevilla are currently sitting 15th in La Liga having only picked up five points in six games this season. Unless Lopetegui is able to achieve a win or at least a draw, many Sevilla fans believe this would be the last game that he would manage at the club.
Atlético Madrid also desperately need to win this game as they are only 7th in the league.
AS predict Lopetegui will field the following starting XI vs Atlético Madrid: Bono – José Ángel Carmona, Nemanja Gudelj, Kike Salas, Marcos Acuña – Érik Lamela, Fernando, Óliver Torres, Joan Jordán, Isco – Kasper Dolberg.
