Sevilla poke fun at Liverpool star Alexander-Arnold after friendly clash

The social media team at La Liga outfit Sevilla have on Sunday made use of the opportunity to have some fun at the expense of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.

This comes after the two clubs locked horns in a friendly clash at Anfield.

When all was said and done on Merseyside, it was the hosts who emerged on the right side of a comfortable 4-1 victory, courtesy of goals on the part of all of Diogo Jota, Luis Díaz (2), and Trey Nyoni.

As alluded to above, though, amid the action in Liverpool, it was another member of Arne Slot’s ranks whom Sevilla set their sights on…

The player in question comes in the form of defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Unveiling a photo of the England international defending his goal during the matchup across their social media accounts, the Nervionenses attached the caption:

‘stop savin chat’

This comes in reference to a past incident involving Alexander-Arnold, which saw the full-back go viral for a Snapchat conversation with a female, whom he asked to ‘stop savin chat’.
