Sevilla negotiate with Bayern Munich the signing of Tanguy Nianzou

As broken by Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla are in advanced talks with Bayern Munich regarding the transfer of Tanguy Nianzou.

Los Nervionenses are still in the market for a new centre-back following the sale of Jules Koundé to Barcelona. Earlier this summer they were negotiating with PSG to sign Thilo Kehrer, but it appears as though negotiations have broken down between the two sides and the German international wasn’t keen on leaving Paris either.

Discussions between Sevilla and Bayern Munich have been positive so far, with both sides hoping to get the deal finalised this week.

Nianzou arrived to Bayern Munich in 2020 on a free transfer from PSG following the expiration of his contract in France. He has accumulated 28 appearances for the Bavarian side over the last two years. With the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus, the 20-year-old is considering to leave the club to earn more playing time.
