Sevilla head coach Jorge Sampaoli admits that he would like to be able to sign Tottenham winger Bryan Gil for the rest of the season.
“Bryan Gil fits my profile because I called him personally last year at Marseille. To me, he is a player who could give us something on the wing, but these are situations that I am no longer involved in. [Jeff] Reine-Adelaide seemed to have a lot of potential but then his condition and his status is not my business. I’m not the one to evaluate that,” he said in quotes reported by AS.
“We have to improve in the penalty areas, because there is no point in dominating and having a lot of chances if we are not putting those chances away. The other day we didn’t win despite so much dominance and the few chances that our opponents had, they converted. That’s where games are won and lost and we have to keep working to be more decisive in our own area and to be able to look for a player with more ability in front of goal.”
