Sevilla are close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United to sign left-back Alex Telles on loan.
The 29-year-old looks set to join the Andalusian club on a free transfer, as first reported by TNT Sports and confirmed by GOAL.
The player is expected to be in Spain this week to undergo a medical and sign his contract until June 2023. The deal could be closed as early as Wednesday with just a few details left to be worked out.
Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui has a void to cover at left-back since the departure of Ludwig Augustinsson to Aston Villa.
Telles made 21 Premier League appearances last season, four in the Champions League and one in the EFL Cup, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford in 2020, he has played 50 games, scoring one goal and providing eight assists.
The former Porto defender has a contract at Old Trafford until 30 June 2024.
