La Liga outfit Sevilla have this weekend tied up an agreement for a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Qarabag star Juninho as the player all set to make the move to Spain.
Frontman Juninho has seen his name take its place front and centre in the media chatter in Seville over recent weeks.
As much comes after word was forthcoming that, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements up top, the 28-year-old had been identified as the leading option on the part of García Pimienta and co.
Juninho has for his part averaged a goal contribution every two games for Azerbaijani giants Qarabag this season.
And such exploits have proven enough to convince the transfer team at Sevilla to push a winter deal for his signature over the line.
As per a report from Fabrizio Romano:
‘Juninho to Sevilla, agreement confirmed. Here we go.’
The Nervionenses are set to pay out an initial fee in the region of €4 million, plus a potential €1 million in add-ons, to land Juninho this month.
