La Liga outfit Sevilla have this week announced a contract extension for head coach García Pimienta.
Tactician García Pimienta, of course, only put pen to paper on terms at The Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán earlier this year.
Evidently, though, the work being done by the Spaniard and his coaching staff has gone down altogether well with those behind the scenes at Sevilla.
The Nervionenses are for their part fresh off making it two wins from their last three on Tuesday night, courtesy of a 2-1 downing of Real Valladolid.
And, on the back of the full-time whistle in Andalusia, news of García Pimienta’s renewal swiftly followed.
As per a statement across Sevilla’s website and social media platforms:
‘Xavier García Pimienta has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the club until 2027. After the win against Real Valladolid, President José María del Nido Carrasco, announced the extension to the team and coaching staff, with the agreement having been signed before the win against Getafe CF.’
