Sergio Ramos not ruled out of Real Madrid-PSG match

Cadena SER report that Sergio Ramos has not been ruled out for PSG’s last 16 Champions League second leg tie against Real Madrid on 9 March.

PSG will visit the Santiago Bernabéu with a 1-0 lead from the first leg under their belts. Whether they will do it with Ramos or not is still unknown, but the centre-back is working hard to make it on time.

Ramos should be back in training in the next few days and, although he is practically ruled out for the match with Nice on Saturday, he could still make Mauricio Pochettino’s squad next week.

The Real Madrid legend is doing all he can to be available for 9 March. Returning to what was his home for 16 seasons is key for him and even more so in a match of such importance, where the Ligue 1 side and Los Blancos are playing for a place in the last 8 of the competition.

As French outlet Le Parisien has revealed, the Andalusian defender has not been ruled out of the clash.
