Sergio Busquets set to win 132nd Spain cap

Sergio Busquets has played 131 times for Spain and is set to win his 132nd cap against Greece on Thursday.

His former Barcelona team-mate Andrés Iniesta represented La Roja 131 times and Busquets is expected to move one appearance ahead of the scorer of the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final.

If Busquets plays against Sweden on Sunday, he will be on the same number of caps as his Barcelona manager Xavi Hernández (133).

In April 2009, the defensive midfielder made his debut for Spain against Turkey and has scored just twice in his 131 games. Busquets helped La Roja to the 2010 World Cup and also to Euro 2012 glory.

Sergio Ramos currently tops the charts with 180 caps for Spain. Legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas is in second place with 167 caps, with Xavi in third on 133 appearances.
