Sergio Agüero set to announce retirement from football

Barcelona striker Sergio Agüero is expected to announce his retirement from football on Wednesday, according to Radio Marca.

The Argentine has been forced to make a definitive decision over his future due to the cardiac problems which caused him to suffer an arrhythmia during Barcelona’s league game against Alavés at Camp Nou on October 30.

Since joining from Manchester City, the forward was only able to play five times for Barcelona, scoring one goal in El Clásico against Real Madrid.

The 33-year-old is now set to announce his retirement from the game after a hugely successful career.
