Serge Aurier is on the verge of joining Villarreal, according to AS.
The Yellow Submarine are finalising the signing of the right-back and he will join as a free agent. The 28-year-old played under current Villarreal manager Unai Emery at PSG.
Aurier is set to undergo a medical on Monday before joining the La Liga outfit. He spent the last four seasons at Tottenham and is currently a free agent.
According to Radio Monte Carlo and AS, the defender has been at Villarreal’s La Ceramica stadium ahead of completing his move to the Europa League champions.
