Despite interest in Girona’s Sávio from the likes of Barcelona, who are thought to be big admirers of the 19-year-old forward, it is unlikely that the Brazilian will be making a move any time soon.
That is according to AS, who are reporting that as Sávio is at Girona, an affiliate club of Manchester City, the current plan would be to keep the player at Girona for the time being, with a view to potentially ‘promoting’ him to City should his impressive performances continue.
Sávio currently has four goals and four assists this season, with his team first in La Liga on 34 points.
