Atlético Madrid right-back Santiago Arias is close to joining Bayer Leverkusen, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 28-year-old is surplus to requirements at the Wanda Metropolitano, becoming third-choice right-back to Kieran Trippier and Sime Vrsaljko. Everton were previously reported to be keen on the Colombian defender, however it now appears that the Bundesliga side will sign him for the 2020/21 season.
