Roque in, Lewandowski out: Barcelona tipped to unleash new-look attack against Las Palmas

An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for the club’s upcoming meeting with Las Palmas has been forthcoming on Thursday.

And the news will no doubt be met with excitement on the part of those of a Barca persuasion.

This comes amid claims that, at long last, January arrival Vitor Roque could be afforded an extended chance to impress in the club’s colours.

As per a report from Diario Sport, frontman Roque is in with a strong shout of being made use of as the Blaugrana’s attacking spearhead this weekend.

With Robert Lewandowski having picked up a knock to his thigh whilst on international duty with Poland, an opening may well have opened up in Xavi’s frontline.

And the 19-year-old is ready to step into as much, having ‘surprised with flashes of brilliance’ in Barcelona training across the international break.

Tipped to join Roque in a new-look front-three, meanwhile, are Lamine Yamal, and João Félix.

Lamine is favoured over Raphinha owing to the fact that he started only one of Spain’s two fixtures during the break, whilst Félix, too, was in from the off just once for Portugal.
