According to Fabrizio Romano, Ronald Koeman will be the Barcelona manager for the coming season.
There has been much doubt over the Dutchman’s future since the end of the 2020/21 season, however, it is believed that president Joan Laporta trusts Koeman and will keep him in charge at Camp Nou.
Talks were held between Koeman’s representative and Barcelona over the last couple of weeks regarding his position at the club. The former Barça player joined the club in August 2020 and won the Copa del Rey in his first season in charge.
Koeman’s current deal at Barça runs until 30 June 2022.
