Ronald Araújo spoke to the media ahead of Barcelona’s game against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.
“I feel valued. I’m at the best club in the world and we are very excited to grow as a team. I’m happy,” said the centre-back in quotes reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“We are at a good level, we knew what to improve on from last season. If we can keep a clean sheet, we can always score a goal because of the quality we have up front. Tomorrow we will try to do that against great strikers.”

“I’m preparing normally, like every match. They are quality players and I think I already have experience and I’ve played in high-intensity matches.
On Lewandowski
“We all know the quality that Lewandowski has. We struggled a lot against him before and now we are happy that he can help us.”

“I feel more comfortable playing at centre-back, but whenever the coach asks me to, I’ll play as much as possible wherever I can.”
On 2022 World Cup
“I’m focused on tomorrow’s game and we have a very difficult schedule in October. We’ll think about the World Cup when it’s over.”
