Robert Lewandowski has watch stolen as he signs autographs

On entering Barcelona’s Ciutat Esportiva training facility on Thursday, thieves stole a valuable watch from Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski when he stopped to sign autographs for fans, according to journalist Alfredo Martínez.

After stopping at the gate to sign autographs for the fans who were waiting for the players to arrive, some individuals took the opportunity to open the passenger door of the Polish player’s car and steal a watch (Patek Philippe), valued at €75,000, straight off his wrist, according to Sport.

The thieves took the watch and hid it under a tree. First Lewandowski and then the police chased the three thieves. The police were finally able to recover the watch.

An individual has since been arrested and is at a police station in Cornellá.
