Revealed: Arda Güler’s one-word message to Carlo Ancelotti after first Real Madrid goal

An insight into the simple message conveyed to Real Madrid head coach by youngster Arda Güler on Sunday night has come to the fore online.

The name of midfielder Güler, of course, took its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital 24 hours ago.

This came after the Turkish starlet, at long last, opened his account in the colours of Real Madrid.

Afforded his latest opportunity to impress off the bench in Los Blancos’ La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo, Güler took full advantage, by way of a moment of sheer individual quality.

Slipped through one-on-one with Vicente Guaita mere minutes after stepping foot on the pitch, the 19-year-old rounded Celta’s no.1, before slotting into the empty net in composed fashion.

And, on the back of the full-time whistle at the Santiago Bernabéu, Güler was quick to make clear his gratitude to boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The subject of the relationship between Real Madrid’s headmaster, and the prodigious summer arrival at the club, has of course long proven a central talking point in the media.

As much comes amid suggestions that the pair have not always seen eye-to-eye, when it comes to Güler’s playing time, or rather lack thereof.

On Sunday, though, the Turk sent a simple but heartfelt one-word message to his manager, as picked up on by DAZN’s cameras in Madrid:

“Gracias” (thank you), the message in question.
