Two important members of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad will be unavailable for selection for the club’s next outing.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Brais Méndez and Luka Sučić as the pair in question.
Midfielder Brais, for his part, was in from the off once more on Thursday night, as Real Sociedad made the trip to Old Trafford for a Europa League meeting with Manchester United.
En route to a 4-1 defeat for the Basque outfit, however, the 28-year-old picked up a fresh injury setback.
As much was confirmed by Imanol on Friday, with Brais set for an incoming spell out of action owing to a blow to the fifth metatarsal in his foot.
Fellow engine room star Sučić, meanwhile, is also primed to miss out on Sunday, yet to recover from an ongoing knee problem.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Luka Sučić will not be ready in time and will also miss the match between Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano.’
