The transfer team at Real Sociedad are inching towards an agreement to land Sheraldo Becker from Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin.
That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has this afternoon provided an insight into the situation.
Suriname international Becker, for his part, has long been on the radar of the Sociedad brass, keen to add to the club’s attacking options with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
Negotiations, in turn, have been ongoing across the month to date, to reach common ground on a fee and contract terms alike.
And, if the aforementioned Romano’s latest update is anything to go by, talks now appear set to bear imminent fruit.
This comes with the deal labelled as being ‘at the final stage’, therefore ‘almost done’.
The transfer will come in the form of a permanent one, with Becker, who is understood to be eager for a new experience in Spain, currently ironing out the finer details of his contract at the Reale Arena.
