Real Sociedad and Angers reach agreement for Mohamed-Ali Cho

Real Sociedad and Angers have reached an agreement for Mohamed-Ali Cho for a fee believed to be in the region of €11-12m, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 18-year-old looks set to sign a five-year deal with La Real. Eintracht Frankfurt, Real Betis and Salzburg were also interested.

Last season, Cho made 32 appearances for the French side, scoring four goals.

Cho is not specifically a wide player, but given his qualities, he could play a lot in that position under Imanol Alguacil with both Cristian Porta and Adnan Januzaj set to depart the club.

The San Sebastián club will likely sign two wingers in this transfer window in order to maintain the quality and competitiveness on the wings.

The teenager has similar qualities to Portu in terms of speed and running past the opposition defence.

He has represented England and Spain at underage level and his current deal at Angers was running until 2023.
