An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid for star attacker Vinícius Jr. in the club’s next outing has today been forthcoming online.
Wide-man Vinícius, for his part, linked back up with the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real squad in the USA late this week.
After an extended summer vacation following his exploits at the Copa América with Brazil, the 23-year-old has rejoined group training, as part of preparations for the new campaign.
Next on the agenda for Los Blancos is a highly-anticipated friendly fixture in the early hours of Sunday.
The matchup in question will see the Spanish champions lock horns with arch rivals Barcelona, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
And Vinícius, despite his late return, is expected to play at least some part in proceedings…
As per a report from Diario AS, the plan drawn up by Ancelotti and co. involves introducing the winger to the fray during the 2nd-half.
This comes with Vinícius still considered as ‘a bit short of preparation at the moment’.
