An update on the future of Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler has come to the fore this afternoon.
And the news will no doubt be met with concern on the part of all those of a Real persuasion desperate to see the Turk afforded an extended opportunity to prove his worth in the colours of Los Blancos in the near future.
Instead, Güler, it is understood, is inching ever closer to a summer loan exit from Spain’s capital.
Murmurs pointing towards a temporary spell away from the Santiago Bernabéu for the midfield prodigy have of course long been mounting in the media.
This comes as Güler continues to struggle to establish himself in the first-team plans of Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Though the youngster himself is understood to be keen to stay put to fight for his place, the understanding is that a growing number of figures in the boardroom in Madrid are pushing for a loan with a view to next season.
And as much was reiterated by transfer insider Matteo Moretto on Monday, who backed a previous report on the part of Spanish outlet Relevo that a departure for Güler come the summer is looking ‘an increasingly likely option’:
