All associated with La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Friday evening been afforded reason to get excited.
This comes with the latest big-money addition to the club’s first-team ranks having received the famed ‘here we go’ from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The player all set to take his talents to Spain’s capital this summer? Dean Huijsen.
Defender Huijsen has of course positioned himself front and centre in the headlines at Real Madrid for several days now.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu had ramped up their pursuit of the Bournemouth talent.
After being given the green light by incoming manager Xabi Alonso, Florentino Pérez and co. moved in decisive fashion to tie up a deal for Huijsen.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, such endeavours have borne fruit.
