An up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has thoroughly impressed with his early exploits in pre-season training.
That’s according to The Athletic, who point towards Jacobo Ramón as the player in question.
Youngster Ramón, for his part, linked up with Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad in the USA earlier this week.
As much came after the defender played his part in Spain’s U19 sealing glory at the European Championships.
He has since gone on to join the star-studded Blancos first-team in training, as preparations ramp up for the new campaign.
And, if the latest word doing the rounds in the media is anything to go by, Ramón is doing his hopes of carving out a place for himself in Ancelotti’s setup for the season ahead absolutely no harm.
As per a report from The Athletic:
‘Ramon was one of the best performers in Madrid’s first training session at Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium, impressing with his speed and footwork.’
