Real Madrid youngster announces himself with stunning debut assist vs Osasuna

La Liga giants Real Madrid on Saturday saw one of the club’s up-and-coming young talents announce himself on the senior stage.

The player in question? Raúl Asencio.

Real are of course currently locked in action, in a league meeting with Osasuna.

As things stand at the Santiago Bernabéu, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops find themselves in possession of a four-goal advantage, owing to strikes on the part of Vinícius Jr (3), and Jude Bellingham.

And it was the latter’s goal which was created courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance on the part of the aforementioned Asencio.

Introduced to the fray owing to what looks like a serious knee injury suffered by Éder Militão, debutant Asencio wasted little time in making his presence felt.

Spotting teammate Bellingham’s burst from deep, the 21-year-old split Osasuna’s backline wide open, courtesy of a sumptous lofted pass.

And the former made no mistake with his ensuing finish, ensuring that Asencio marked his first-ever appearance at senior level for Real Madrid with a brilliant assist.
