The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid will soon be forced to cough up a fresh bonus payment, for the signing of Arda Güler.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards as much as being set to come once the 19-year-old has played another 15 games for the club.
Real, of course, brought Güler to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2023, as part of a complex agreement with Turkish heavyweights Fenerbahçe.
The agreement struck between the clubs outlined that Los Blancos would fork over an initial €20 million for Güler’s signing.
On top of this, however, the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu also agreed to a series of bonus payments, based on the Turkish international’s success in his new home.
And, as alluded to above, over the coming months, one such add-on is set to be activated.
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘According to these clauses, Real Madrid will pay Fenerbahce €2 million more if the attacker plays 15 more games.’
