Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is not in Real Madrid’s plans for now, according to Madrid-based journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz on Cadena Cope.
Madrid aim to give more time to Serbian striker Luka Jović, in the hope that he can turn his form around. Jović is currently sidelined with a fracture in his right foot which was sustained training at home.
Haaland has been heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu from the Bundesliga since bursting onto the scene for Red Bull Salzburg. Jović hasn’t hit the heights expected of him since joining Los Blancos, playing second fiddle to Karim Benzema, but the club reportedly want to give the 22-year-old time to succeed.
