Real Madrid to battle it out with Premier League sides for Jude Bellingham

Earlier this week it was communicated that Real Madrid are keen on signing Jude Bellingham and the player is interested in moving to the European champions.

However, it appears as though Los Blancos will have to race several Premier League clubs in order to secure the services of the 19-year-old, report AS.

Even though Bellingham’s contract with Borussia Dortmund is valid until June 2025, it is very unlikely that he will stay at the German side this summer.

According to the latest reports, Manchester United have identified the England international as their number one target for the summer transfer window in 2023.

While it is believed that Real Madrid and Liverpool have the upper hand in the negotiations as they have been tracking the player for the longest, Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested.

Borussia Dortmund are expected to put a €145m price tag on Bellingham, which may turn out to be higher given the interest shown towards the player. If Bellingham’s transfer ends up becoming a bidding war, Los Blancos will struggle to compete with the financial might of Premier League teams.
